What we offer you! In the primary school's leadership team, we work together with leadership to develop leadership strategies to manage the role of school principal. You will work with, take responsibility for, and manage varying assignments such as leading, planning, and developing the school's pedagogical work based on delegation and together with the deputy principal. You are part of one of our four strategic leadership teams in primary school, where together with other school leaders you are given the opportunity to refine and develop leadership strategies, collective learning, and find support in the school leadership role. The four strategic leadership teams also work together with needs and conditions within the entire primary school operations. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow in your leadership and work with many different assignments such as leading, planning, and developing the school's pedagogical work based on delegation. You actively participate in daily operations and create, based on governing documents and systematic quality work, good conditions for students and employees to reach set goals. The work also includes health-promoting and preventive student health initiatives as well as parent contact. The distribution of student, personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility is decided within the scope of the principal's internal organization. Through a clearly developed structure, the operation's ambition is to convey a sense of safety and conducive study environment. We are looking for someone with higher education with a pedagogical focus. We see that you have experience in school leadership roles or in a supervisory role, preferably within public administration or from some form of pedagogical activity. Experience from primary school operations as well as participation in a principal program is meritorious. To manage the principal role, we see that you have very good IT skills as you will work in a number of different operational systems. We see that you are a flexible team player who will be part of our leadership team and you have a good ability to look at the entire operation's conditions and needs while also taking responsibility for your own specific areas. As a person, you have good leadership qualities and developed leadership strategies to drive the school's work together with the deputy principal. Therefore, you also need to have the ability to delegate and lead through other leaders. Furthermore, you are present and have the ability to inspire and engage your employees. You have a democratic way of working and have a good ability to identify and analyze needs, cause, and effect in the operation. The role requires an ability to adapt your leadership and make decisions based on the operation's needs. You need to be well oriented in our governing documents and other legislation that regulates the operation. We assume that you are confident in your profession, positive, goal-oriented, and organized, and have great drive when it comes to the school's development processes. You see diversity as an asset in the operation. You are communicative and also have the ability to be a good listener. We expect you to have good cooperation skills with students, guardians, employees, and other school leadership. Other information The first interview is scheduled for Friday 2/10.
