Do you want to lead and develop Vetlanda Municipality's adapted primary school and help create favorable conditions for learning, development, and participation? We are now recruiting a principal for the adapted primary school.
You will lead and develop the pedagogical work within the adapted primary school, which currently operates across four different school units. You will also play an important role in ongoing development work and in shaping the future adapted primary school in Vetlanda Municipality.
As a principal, you ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students. You are responsible for operations, staff, finances, and working conditions. You lead systematic quality work and operate according to the school's goals and governing documents.
In this role, you work closely with the schools and have a clear focus on school development. Together with the staff, you develop methods and instruction to strengthen quality and goal achievement. You plan, follow up, and evaluate operations and take an active role in the schools' development work.
As a principal in Vetlanda Municipality, you are part of a collegial network together with other principals in primary education. Together you work to develop the entire primary school operations in the municipality. You meet regularly, both in the management group and in operations-focused collaboration formats. You also have access to support from the municipality's central support functions, including student health services, finance, HR, legal, and digitalization.

You are proactive, organized, and persistent, with the ability to drive development work even in challenging contexts. Qualifications
Pedagogical higher education or other education that we consider equivalent.
Good knowledge of the adapted school's governing documents and the ability to implement them in daily work.
Experience leading systematic quality work and development processes.
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Class B driver's license and access to a vehicle.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: January 4, 2027, or by agreement. Selection and interviews are held on an ongoing basis.
Working hours: Daytime.
