Your new workplace Recruitment and Staffing is part of Sundsvall Municipality's Service Center. Here, recruitment specialists, temporary staffing coordinators, and staffing consultants work closely together. We have a strong focus on collaboration and a holistic approach, where we collectively take responsibility for creating good solutions for the municipality's operations. The Recruitment Unit currently consists of nine employees and is tasked with supporting all of the Sundsvall Municipality group in recruitment matters. Beyond providing support in day-to-day recruitment work, we continuously work to develop our approaches and processes. We also contribute to developing and further refining guiding and supporting documents in this area. By sharing knowledge, collaborating, and leveraging each other's expertise, we work together to reach our goals and create results that make a difference for the municipality's operations. How you contribute in the role of Recruitment Specialist As a Recruitment Specialist, you have a consultative and operationally focused role where you independently drive recruitment processes from job requirements to placement. You support managers throughout the recruitment process and contribute your expertise in competency-based recruitment, candidate assessment, and employer branding. In this role, you take full responsibility for your recruitments and ensure progress in the processes. This means coordinating and driving work in close collaboration with managers, HR colleagues, and other relevant parties, as well as ensuring that activities are carried out as planned. As a Recruitment Specialist, you also help drive the development of the municipality's recruitment efforts. Together with your colleagues, you identify and implement improvements, develop working methods, and contribute to strengthening the department's competence and performance. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone with an academic degree that we assess as relevant for the position. You have at least two years of experience as a recruiter with experience of working in a consultative manner by providing support, advice, and constructive feedback to managers on recruitment matters. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, good digital proficiency, and a valid driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability! With your specialist expertise in recruitment, you provide professional and consultative support to managers and other relevant parties. You take responsibility for your work, build trusting relationships, and contribute to good and constructive dialogue, even when different perspectives need to be weighed together. You have a strategic approach and the ability to see both the big picture and long-term needs. With strong digital competence, you use digital tools as a natural part of your work and see opportunities to simplify, streamline, and develop recruitment processes. About the recruitment process As part of the selection process, we use personality tests. Candidates who meet the job requirements will take the test, which will then serve as supplementary material in the overall assessment. The final candidate will also take a logical reasoning test. The results will be used as supplementary material to better understand the candidate's strengths and conditions in the role, as well as to provide appropriate support and coaching.
