Business Description
As a records officer, you will work at the Board and Investigation Department, which is part of the Support and Development Administration. The department has a central role in the municipality and is responsible for several important support functions, including board administration, archive operations, qualified investigations, and public guardian operations.

This position is newly established as part of our long-term development work, and will primarily focus on Gällivare municipality's office operations and the public guardian board.
Duties
The role of records officer involves qualified administration with broad scope. Your tasks include, among others:
Open, review and distribute incoming mail
Register incoming, outgoing and created documents
Dispatch decisions and documents
Conduct confidentiality assessments in accordance with applicable legislation
Provide access to public documents
Responsible for annual archiving and participate in archive and document management work
You also provide support and training in document management and the municipality's case processes, and work together with your colleagues to develop the field. The position also includes planning and conducting general elections.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with relevant university education and/or experience in qualified administrative work that the employer considers equivalent.
You work independently, in a structured manner and service-oriented, and feel comfortable with the IT tools that support the assignment. Your Swedish, both spoken and written, is of high quality, and you are accustomed to navigating according to regulations, legislation and internal guidelines.
As a person, you are communicative and attentive, with a professional demeanor. You see the big picture without losing focus on quality and legal security in the details.
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of municipal law and administrative law matters, public access and confidentiality, as well as experience with document registration and document management in public operations.
Gällivare municipality is an administration municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish according to the Act on National Minorities and Minority Languages. Knowledge of any of these languages is seen as advantageous in employment.
