In the Legal Department, we handle matters across many areas of law including municipal and administrative law, health and medical law, research law, public access and confidentiality, procurement, IT law, data protection, association law, and total defense law. We are four regional lawyers, including a chief legal counsel, who work closely with operations and provide legal support. We are now expanding with two additional positions, including one regional lawyer who works broadly with all matters that arise in the department. DUTIES As a regional lawyer, you will have a central role where you influence and contribute to legal development within our organization. Here you will have the opportunity to work broadly with legal matters and be a key person in ensuring legal solutions that make a real difference for both employees and residents. Main responsibilities • work with complex projects alongside skilled colleagues from various professions • be part of a team of regional lawyers with different areas of expertise and experience • handle diverse and broad legal matters within the organization • contribute to collegial knowledge sharing and have opportunities for continuous professional development. You have a structured approach to work and the ability to plan and prioritize to achieve results even when workload is heavy. You are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances without losing focus. When problems arise, you see opportunities and find solutions quickly. You also have excellent collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others to reach common goals. You communicate clearly and effectively and always deliver high quality in what you do. To succeed in this role, you must have • a degree from a law program, 270 credits. It is an advantage if you have experience in several of the areas of law the legal department works with, particularly health and medical law and public law (preferably municipal and administrative law).
