Job Position Characteristics:
Execution of tasks arising from the Building Act, decision-making in the area of building regulations - approving construction, approving demolition, conducting proceedings and ordering removal of construction, site modifications and facilities, conducting proceedings and deciding on exemptions from general construction requirements, performing inspections concerning building regulations - conducting proceedings and deciding on violations.
Qualification Requirements:
Education and experience qualifications according to § 30a of Act No. 283/2021 Coll., Building Act, are met by:
a) an authorized architect who was granted authorization in the field of architecture or without field specification according to the authorization act,
b) an authorized engineer or authorized technician who was granted authorization in the field of building construction, transport structures, water management and landscape engineering structures, bridges and engineering structures, statics and dynamics of buildings, or urban engineering,
c) a natural person who has higher education in a study program belonging to the field of architecture and urban planning, construction, economic fields, transport, biology, ecology and environment, forestry and timber industry, earth sciences, or law,
d) a natural person who has post-secondary specialized education in the field of construction, geodesy and cartography, general legal activities, public administration activities, or transport, or
e) a natural person who has secondary education with a school-leaving examination in the field of construction, geodesy and real estate cadastre, or public administration activities.
Additional Requirements:
- Professional competency examination in the area of building regulations is welcome
- Knowledge of the Building Act, knowledge of Administrative Code
- experience in administrative proceedings is an advantage
- driving license for category "B" – active driver
- independence, conscientiousness, reliability, flexibility, responsibility
- organizational and communication skills
- high work commitment
- user proficiency in PC work – Word, Excel, Outlook, internet
