WATER QUALITY SPECIALIST AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE TECHNICIAN
Work Location: Karlovy Vary
We are looking for a colleague who is knowledgeable in water management and wants to apply their expertise in practice. We offer a position that combines specialized office work with the resolution of specific environmental emergencies directly in the field.
What awaits you
• Statement of opinion on projects affecting surface and groundwater (wastewater, stormwater and mining water discharge, construction of wastewater treatment plants, industrial parks, transportation infrastructure, etc.)
• Provision of emergency services for the Povodí Ohře facility in Karlovy Vary
• Active resolution of environmental emergencies in the field, including subsequent administrative work
• Coordination of emergency standby services
• Cooperation with water authority offices, ČIŽP, HZS, Czech Police, and other institutions
What we expect from you
• Secondary or higher education (water management, construction, water chemistry, environmental disciplines)
• Basic knowledge of water chemistry
• Knowledge of water legislation (Water Act, Act on Water Supply and Sewerage)
• Advanced knowledge of PC work (MS Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of water treatment and purification technologies and technical documentation
• Driver's license category B (active driver)
• Ability to independently resolve tasks and extraordinary situations
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Physical fitness
