Do you want to combine accounting and consulting while contributing to the development of agriculture in Skåne? Demand for our services is growing, and HIR Skåne is now seeking an accounting consultant for our office outside Ängelholm. Here you will work closely with agricultural businesses and help them develop profitable and sustainably viable operations. With us, you will have varied work where economics, consulting, and business development meet. You will be part of our accounting team of approximately 30 employees working with accounting, financial statements, tax consulting, market monitoring, generational transitions, business development, and to some extent legal matters. About the Position As an accounting consultant, you will work closely with our clients and provide important support in both day-to-day operations and more long-term financial decisions. The work primarily encompasses accounting, financial statements, tax returns, tax consulting, financial management, and business development. The role will be shaped to some extent based on your experience, expertise, and interests. You will, among other things: independently manage clients' ongoing accounting, financial statements, and tax returns support agricultural businesses in financial and business decisions provide consulting on profitability, investments, and business development participate in business-focused dialogue and build long-term client relationships collaborate with colleagues in various areas of expertise. About You We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in crop production or horticulture, combined with a good understanding of economics. You are curious, engaged, and enjoy working closely with both people and businesses. You take responsibility for your work, have an easy way of building trust, and can explain financial matters clearly and comprehensibly. You enjoy working independently, but also appreciate knowledge sharing and collaboration with colleagues. We are looking for someone who has: post-secondary education in economics or equivalent experience good knowledge of accounting knowledge of crop production or horticulture the ability to work independently and in a structured manner a consulting and client-oriented approach. It is meritorious if you have: some years of experience in accounting, financial statements, or financial consulting experience working with agricultural or horticultural businesses experience running your own business knowledge of the economic conditions of agricultural businesses.
