Accounting Specialist for Consulting Assignment
LetsGig is building a strong network of accounting specialists for upcoming longer consulting assignments with our clients in Gävleborgs County. We are looking for both junior, experienced, and senior profiles and would like to hear from you if you are open to new assignments in the future.
About the Opportunities
Assignments may be found in public administration, municipal companies, and other larger organizations. Some assignments are operational and transaction-focused, while others require independent responsibility for financial statements, reporting, and qualified accounting matters. Both employment and subcontracting arrangements through your own company can occur based on needs and your own preferences.
Example of Work Tasks
Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
Monthly, interim, and annual financial statements
Accounts receivable and payable
Accruals, fixed asset register, and balance sheet accounts
Reporting and quality assurance of financial documentation
Support with audits and preparation of annual report materials
Improvement and documentation of accounting procedures
We Are Looking for You If You
Have education in economics/accounting or equivalent practical experience
Have accounting work experience corresponding to the level of assignment you are seeking
Work carefully, systematically, and independently
Are comfortable documenting and explaining financial documentation
Have good system skills and find it easy to learn new working methods
Meritorious
Experience from municipality, region, state administration, or municipal company
Independent responsibility for financial statements
Experience with annual reports, VAT, fixed asset accounting, or project accounting
System knowledge in, for example, Unit4/Agresso, Raindance, Visma, Fortnox, or other major accounting systems
Experience with process improvement or quality assurance within accounting
Workplace and Arrangement
Assignments may be on-site, hybrid, or in some cases primarily remote. We are particularly looking for candidates who can work in Gävleborg for future assignments. The scope varies from part-time to full-time depending on the assignment.
