What does the role as an accounting consultant at Aspia involve? In your role as a consultant with us, you work on varying interim assignments at our clients, for example during temporary vacancies, recruitment processes, change projects, or system migrations. The assignments vary in length and complexity, and are matched based on your experience and expertise. You should enjoy change, be curious about new environments, and feel confident representing your expertise in client interviews. The assignments are primarily in the Göteborg area, but may also occur in nearby locations depending on the assignment and your interest. Examples of work tasks with our clients Ongoing accounting and account reconciliations Independent work with monthly and annual closing Annual reports and tax returns Simpler group accounting and reporting, depending on the assignment Documentation and development of processes and routines We are looking for someone who has: Academic education in economics or equivalent Several years of experience as an accounting professional Experience independently preparing monthly closing statements Experience working according to the K3 framework Good system knowledge and strong Excel skills Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meriting factors: Experience independently preparing annual closing statements and annual reports Experience across different industries and larger companies Experience with IFRS Experience with larger business systems, e.g., SAP Experience from the consulting industry Knowledge and experience using AI tools within accounting and finance, for example for automation, analysis, or process efficiency improvements For you to thrive as a consultant, we see that you: Thrive on variety and change and have the ability to quickly adapt to new environments, working methods, and systems.
