AIT Umeå is a problem solver for industry that designs, manufactures, and delivers mobile transporters, industrial automation, and welded structures. AIT Umeå currently has approximately 55 employees.
About the Position
The position is primarily focused on financial administration, but you will also have individual responsibility for the company's payroll management and payroll process.
You will have a broad and varied role where you work independently with ongoing finances and simultaneously serve as an important contact for payroll and financial administration matters.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable from start to finish, including payments and reconciliations.
Handle other ongoing financial transactions.
Work with monitoring, analysis, monthly reconciliations, and variance management.
Work with monthly closing and regulatory reporting.
Responsible for and execute the monthly payroll run.
Manage payroll-related administration and follow-up.
Prepare reporting and monitor the company's pension provisions.
Support operations with monitoring of financial outcomes and project follow-up.
Develop and streamline work methods and procedures within the finance function.

About You
We are looking for someone with experience in financial administration who feels confident in ongoing accounting. You have experience executing payroll runs in one of the common payroll systems and are comfortable taking responsibility for the entire payroll process. You are also comfortable working independently in Excel.
You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Since the role involves working in multiple different systems, we also see that you have an easy time learning new systems and processes.
It is a merit if you have experience in:
Financial work in an organization with a large volume of transactions.
Monthly closing and regulatory reporting.
Project monitoring or financial follow-up at project level.
Pension and payroll administration.
Developing and streamlining financial processes and procedures.
As a person, you are meticulous, organized, and responsible. You have an analytical approach and are good at finding solutions when problems arise. You like to take initiative and have a desire to develop in your role.
