About the Role This is a broad and independent finance role with clear responsibility for two of the finance function's most important areas: accounting and accounts receivable. You will be responsible for driving and ensuring the accounting work while managing the accounts receivable process and actively working to ensure that invoicing and follow-up function efficiently. The role involves many touchpoints and close collaboration with both colleagues and the business. In a smaller organization, everyone sometimes needs to help outside their main responsibilities, which means the role also offers variety and the opportunity to contribute in other parts of the finance function. Examples of Work Tasks Responsible for ongoing accounting Conduct account reconciliations Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing Participate in work with annual reports, consolidated financial statements, and tax returns Handle accounting-related questions and investigations Participate in and support audit work Responsible for accounts receivable and follow-up of customer receivables Ensure that invoicing documentation comes in from the business Follow up on outstanding invoices and drive the invoicing process when needed Contribute to the development of financial routines, processes, and systems Support colleagues within the finance function when needed Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with accounting experience who feels confident taking independent responsibility for accounting processes and closing work. At the same time, you thrive in an operationally focused role where you have many touchpoints and active responsibility for accounts receivable. We would like to see that you have: Post-secondary education in business/finance or equivalent experience Experience with independent ongoing accounting and closing work Good understanding of accounting regulations and financial processes Experience/knowledge of accounts receivable work Good Excel and Microsoft 365 skills Good IT skills and interest in digital working methods Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written It would be very valuable if you have experience with the business system Pyramid.
