About the RoleTogetherwith our partner, we are now seeking an Accounting Manager for Göteborg. This role is perfect for you if you have a solid and broad foundation in accounting and group accounting and want to take the next step in your development as a leader. Perhaps you currently work as an accounting manager, senior accounting economist, or team lead and feel it's time to take on greater overall responsibility for both a team and a function. Beyond leadership, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that accounting, financial statements, group reporting, and annual reports maintain the right quality and are delivered on schedule. The role is broad and operationally close, which means you need to have a good understanding of operational accounting and be prepared to work closely with the daily workflow when needed. A central part of the assignment will also be to develop the finance function's processes and working methods. You will help create clearer procedures, more efficient workflows, and a structure that works even as the business changes and grows. In summary, you will: Lead and develop a smaller accounting team with focus on engagement, collaboration, and clear areas of responsibility Responsible for work distribution, resource planning, skills development, and the team's collective delivery Ensure quality and delivery in ongoing accounting, financial statements, group reporting, and annual reports Take overall responsibility for group accounting and collaboration between different parts of the business Drive improvement and change initiatives aimed at creating a more efficient and modern finance function Be an important contact person for auditors and ensure that the correct documentation and supporting materials are in place What we're looking forAcademic education in economics or equivalent Several years of broad experience in qualified accounting, financial statements, and annual reports A clear interest in developing processes, procedures, and digital working methods Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Experience with group accounting Experience with SAP is highly meritorious To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are a confident and clear person who enjoys leading people through change.
