As Accounting Manager at Stenbergs, you will work across the entire accounting chain and progressively develop responsibility for more companies within the group. You will work closely with operations and become an important cog in the machinery, with a central role in creating structure, control, and business support in a group operating in an exciting and technology-intensive industry. Within Stenbergs, there is an active focus on developing the finance function through modern systems, digitalization, and AI-driven working methods.
Main Responsibilities
As Accounting Manager at Stenbergs, you will be an important part of the finance team, which consists of four employees. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality in accounting, financial statements, and reporting for the Swedish units, which consist of five companies in the Stenbergs group. The office in Jönköping has approximately 60 employees. Working hours are flexible and development opportunities are extensive. Your role will include:
• Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
• Monthly and annual financial statements
• VAT and tax
• Budget and forecasting work
• External contacts: auditors, banks, and authorities
• Develop the finance function, projects, and improvement work
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in business/accounting and several years of experience in accounting. You feel confident in preparing financial statements and have strong knowledge of the K3 framework with VAT and tax regulations. You have good experience working in large business systems and feel confident in Excel. It is a merit if you have worked with Jeeves, Pyramid, or Medius, which are the systems used here.
As a person, you are described as analytical, driven, and curious. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and work both efficiently and proactively to achieve results. You have a good ability to see solutions and take initiative in developing and improving daily work. With your positive attitude, you contribute to a good atmosphere and find it easy to collaborate with different types of people. You are part of a great team where you help each other, take responsibility, and support one another. You express yourself clearly in Swedish in both speech and writing.
