We are looking for a Purchasing Director who will lead a five-member team and continue developing BEWIT's purchasing operations in an international environment. You will be responsible for sourcing raw materials for in-house production, packaging materials, and finished goods, as well as collaborating with suppliers worldwide. Key responsibilities will include: - Creating and implementing purchasing strategy - Leading a five-member purchasing team - Identifying and evaluating new suppliers - Negotiating prices and commercial terms - Developing relationships with key suppliers - Ensuring material and goods availability with efficient inventory levels - Monitoring purchasing costs, prices, and global market conditions - Addressing supplier issues, disruptions, and complaints - Coordinating imports from third countries including transportation and customs processes What We're Looking For: - A person with proven results in strategic purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management - Experience with international purchasing and foreign suppliers - Knowledge of third-country sourcing, international transportation, and customs processes - Strong negotiation and organizational skills - Experience leading people or potential for team leadership - Excellent English proficiency - Independence, responsibility, and commercial judgment Direct experience as a Purchasing Director is not required. What matters most are your proven results, ability to lead people, and willingness to take responsibility for the company's purchasing operations. In-person collaboration is important for team leadership and coordination with production, development, quality, warehouse, and logistics departments. The remaining 2 days can be worked remotely or in the field by mutual agreement. Business travel to suppliers and professional trade shows is also part of the position. We are looking for someone who can help us find quality and reliable sources, achieve favorable commercial terms, and further develop BEWIT's purchasing on an international scale.
