About the Workplace
Praktikertjänst is opening a new primary care rehabilitation clinic in Vällingby in November, commissioned by Region Stockholm. As one of the first employees, you'll have a unique opportunity to help shape the operation from the ground up – establishing routines, work methods, and the culture that will define the clinic.
The clinic offers broad expertise in rehabilitation and serves patients of all ages with varying needs. Our team includes occupational therapists, physical therapists, and dietitians.
We're located in facilities under Vällingby Vårdcentral and work in close collaboration in our daily operations.
Job Responsibilities
As a receptionist, you'll be the clinic's first point of contact and play a central role in daily operations. You're responsible for creating an efficient patient flow and providing professional service. Since the clinic is brand new, you'll also help establish reception routines and work methods.
Your responsibilities include:
Patient check-in and cash handling
Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
Phone calls, referral management, and communication via 1177/email
Ongoing administrative tasks
Ordering and basic purchasing
Practical tasks such as laundry and material management
Work is primarily in reception but may also include practical support in operations, such as handling materials, managing deliveries, and other clinic-related tasks. Lifting may be required.

Experience working as a receptionist or in a similar administrative service role
Good computer skills
Knowledge of medical record systems, such as TakeCare
Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Merits:
Experience in healthcare or rehabilitation

Personal suitability is given considerable weight.
Personal Qualities
We're looking for someone who is:
Organized with strong prioritization skills
Responsible and self-driven
Customer-focused with a professional demeanor

You thrive in a startup phase where much needs to be put in place, contribute to a safe and well-functioning clinic, and have the ability to work at sometimes high pace.

Scheduled hours, Monday–Friday with a generous flex-time agreement
A workplace with high degree of independence and short decision-making paths
Generous wellness benefit of 5,000 kr/year
