About the position Are you a licensed nurse with several years of work experience? Do you want to work with healthcare advice/triage and, with your medical expertise and support from our digital tools, actively contribute to high quality and good patient safety? The role as a nurse advisor involves assessing residents' symptoms in a structured and methodical way, providing self-care advice, referring to the appropriate level of care, and booking appointments at the unit. The possibility of working from home may be available by agreement. We are now recruiting a nurse/district nurse for Sollefteå Health Center. This is a full-time temporary position with a start date by agreement until 2027-12-31. Responsibilities You will contribute your expertise to support the operations and, as a nurse, will work with: Assess care needs: Ask relevant questions to understand the patient's symptoms, disease progression, and any risk factors by conducting a structured medical history via telephone. Prioritize and triage: Sort and prioritize patients based on medical urgency. Refer to the appropriate level of care: self-care, health center, on-call clinic, emergency department, or other services. Provide advice and support: Inform about self-care and symptom management. Provide clear instructions on what the patient should do now and information about when to seek care again or warning signs to watch for. Document: Keep medical records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including assessments, advice, and referrals.
