About the role As Quality and HSE Manager, you will have a key role in the operation with responsibility for leading, developing, and ensuring the company's systematic work in quality, health, safety, and environment (HSE). You will be an important part of the management team and work closely with the operation to ensure that quality and HSE matters are a natural part of the company's culture, processes, and business development. Your main responsibilities As Quality and HSE Manager, you have overall responsibility for developing, driving, and ensuring the company's work in quality, health, safety, and environment. You work both strategically and operatively and have a central function in the operation's continued development. Through close collaboration with management, supervisors, and employees, you contribute to creating a culture where quality, safety, and continuous improvements are a natural part of daily work. You are responsible for the company's management system and ensure that processes, procedures, and working methods are continuously developed to meet both business objectives and regulatory requirements and customer expectations. An important part of the assignment is to analyze the operation's results, identify improvement areas, and implement these into concrete actions that strengthen both quality and efficiency. The role also involves you being the company's expert in this area and keeping the organization updated on changes in legislation, standards, and other external requirements. You drive the work of integrating quality and HSE perspectives into the operation's processes and ensure that effective methods for monitoring and control are in place. As a member of the management team, you have the opportunity to influence the company's development at both strategic and operational levels. You are a natural change leader who engages and motivates the organization in the work toward high quality, safety, and sustainability goals. Some of your responsibility areas are to: Lead and further develop the company's systematic quality and HSE work. Responsible for internal and external audits and follow-up of action plans. Drive improvement initiatives with a focus on reduced complaint costs and improved quality results. Lead the work of the occupational health and safety committee and actively contribute to management team meetings and follow-ups. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, authorities, and other external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, agreements, and internal policies within your area of responsibility. Responsibility for systematic fire safety work and the assignment as safety responsible for the company's work as a Known Consignor within air freight. Who are you? We are looking for you who have strong commitment to quality, safety, and sustainable development and who thrive in a role where you can combine strategic work with operational presence. We believe you have: University education in quality, environment, occupational health, or equivalent. Several years of experience in quality and HSE work within manufacturing industry. Experience in leadership and successfully driving change and improvement initiatives. Good knowledge of current legislation in quality, occupational health, and environment. Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
