Your Responsibilities The Quality Engineer leads, develops, and ensures quality work within the operation. The role involves ensuring that processes and work methods are efficient, stable, and cost-effective while meeting high standards for quality, delivery precision, work environment, and sustainability. The position has a strong focus on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and development of standardized work methods. Through close collaboration with employees, production, technical staff, and management, the Quality Engineer contributes to the operation's long-term development and results. Key Areas of Responsibility: * Develop and optimize quality in the operation's processes at the product and process level. * Ensure clear focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and productivity. * Drive standardization of work methods, processes, and quality procedures. * Initiate and lead improvement projects in close collaboration with the operation. * Create and update process instructions and quality technical documentation. * Conduct quality technical analyses and root cause analyses for quality and production issues. * Identify improvement areas and drive measures to create more stable and efficient processes. * Coordinate internal and external resources in quality and improvement-related matters. Leadership and Improvement Work: * Set goals for quality work and follow up on results and progress. * Drive a culture characterized by quality, collaboration, improvement work, and safety. * Engage and involve employees in quality and improvement work. * Lead improvement projects and ensure that decided measures are implemented and followed up. Quality, Work Environment, and Environment: * Ensure that production and quality technical processes meet the company's and customers' quality requirements. * Actively contribute to a safe and well-functioning work environment. * Ensure that routines, standards, and requirements are adhered to. * Contribute to the company's environmental and sustainability work by identifying energy-efficient and resource-conscious work methods. * Work preventatively to minimize quality defects, scrap, and production disruptions. Collaboration and Customer Contact: * Provide quality technical support to the operation, sales, and customers as needed. * Be responsible for quality-related contacts with selected suppliers and partners. * Participate in customer meetings regarding quality, problem-solving, and improvement work. * Serve as a contact person for quality-related matters. * Prepare quality technical decision support materials for management and other relevant functions. Quality Follow-up: Quality work is followed up through, among other things: * Scrap and quality outcomes. * Process capability and process stability. * Results of completed improvement projects. * Complaints and quality-related customer matters. * Quality-related costs. * Improvement of process stability and efficiency. * Follow-up of KPIs and decided measures. The Quality Engineer reports to the responsible manager and is responsible for ongoing reporting of quality status, deviations, improvement work, KPIs, and current measures. Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience from manufacturing industry and quality work who enjoys combining analysis and problem-solving with practical improvement work. You are structured, communicative, and have the ability to collaborate with different parts of the operation to create long-term results.
