About the Unit The Field Work School is divided into three different divisions: The Development Division works primarily with developing the Swedish Armed Forces' field work function through development of organization, equipment and methods as well as publications and educational materials. Further, there is the Education Division which trains future specialist officers and tactical officers, as well as providing the Swedish Armed Forces personnel with other competence-raising courses in field work. The Field Work School also has an Experimental Division that conducts tests and trials of field work equipment. Main Duties The Publications Officer's main task is to be editor and project manager in the creation of governing publications for field work within the Swedish Armed Forces and to contribute to other development work within the field work function. The position also includes conducting training and information initiatives in the publications area. Within the framework of your profession, you are expected to be able to assist both other parts of the regiment as well as other Swedish Armed Forces schools with your expertise. Qualifications Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing Documented ability to lead projects Relevant academic education in, for example, Swedish or project management Good computer skills Category B driving license Meritorious Experience working as a teacher, editor, or other experience with publication materials Experience holding and conducting training Experience/knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces and the field work function in particular Personal Qualities As a person, you are driven and can work both independently and in a group. You have the ability to lead and develop issues within your area of responsibility. You express yourself easily both orally and in writing. As a person, you are trustworthy, responsible, and confident in your competence. You have a positive and professional demeanor where you often represent the function within your work area to the Army Staff, other units, schools and centers within the Swedish Armed Forces.
