Child and Family Health welcomes expectant parents, children up to 12 years old, and their relatives for support and help with their family situation. Youth Health Services' mission is to promote physical, mental, social, and sexual development and health in young people aged 13-23 years. We also assess and treat mild to moderate mental health conditions in young people aged 13-17 years. Our psychosocial team consists of counselors and psychologists. Six team members are based in Hudiksvall and two in Ljusdal, with clinical work taking place at both locations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a PTP-psychologist, you will have varied work tasks. Collaboration with healthcare partners and other stakeholders is part of our work, and continuous supervision beyond PTP supervision is offered as needed. As a psychologist, you are also responsible for developmental assessments of children up to and including five years old. As a PTP-psychologist, you will work with: • Early interventions to prevent mental health issues in children, young people, and expectant parents • Treatment of mild to moderate mental health conditions at individual and family levels • Psychoeducational group treatment for children, young people, and parents. We value open and responsive communication in the team to be part of each other's learning. You take responsibility for your tasks and structure how you organize and advance your patient work. The ability to adapt your communication based on the recipient is important in your work with patients/relatives. The ability to focus on the right things and approach challenges in your work with calmness and stability are qualities we consider important. In your role as a PTP-psychologist, you should have: • An approved psychology degree • Experience in psychosocial treatment work. It is advantageous if you have basic psychotherapy training focused on CBT, experience working with children and families, and experience in teamwork and collaboration with healthcare partners. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Employment type: Fixed-term position. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: November 1, 2026 or by agreement until November 30, 2027.
