The psychiatric outpatient clinic is responsible for delivering care in open psychiatric services that promotes health and improves quality of life. Treatment methods must be evidence-based and the services must be diverse. The operations are characterized by good patient care, high accessibility, and good outcomes. You will work in a team consisting of physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, care assistants, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The clinics consist of several different teams, which offers opportunities to adapt your work tasks based on special competencies and interests in specializing. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a specialist physician with us, you will work in a modern, digital environment where you meet patients via video and chat. You will have the same role in your team as physicians on-site, which means you have overall medical responsibility for patient care within your team. You lead and support the clinical work, ensure medical quality, and contribute to developing a safe, learning-centered, and patient-centered care environment. Together with your team, you will establish the structure needed for you to be perceived as present to both the team and to trainee physicians. The arrangement for the hybrid position and the number of weeks you should be physically on-site in Söderhamn will be agreed upon at employment, and an agreement regarding remote work will be written. As a specialist physician, you will work with, among other things: • assessments • treatment • rehabilitation • customary duties for a psychiatric outpatient clinic • on-call work during the weeks you are physically on-site. You contribute to a positive work environment and have your own drive to work independently. You should also have good ability to use technical equipment. Since a large part of the work at the clinic is team-based, there are high demands for interaction with colleagues and other professions, which is why good collaboration skills and humility are valuable personal qualities. Since you will largely work digitally, you need to have developed communication skills to be present in digital forums as well. In the role as specialist physician you should: • be a trained specialist physician in psychiatry • have good IT skills • have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. It is a merit if you have adequate clinical experience, previous experience with digital care consultations, and documented experience in supervision/teaching. Employment type: Permanent employment.
