We are now looking for a Project Freight Coordinator for our client in Finspång. Here you will have a key role in coordinating complex transports and ensuring that deliveries happen according to plan, budget, and applicable regulations.
About the role
As a Project Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating transports for customer projects worldwide. You work closely with project managers, customers, transportation providers, and internal functions to ensure efficient deliveries.
Your responsibilities include:
• Planning and coordinating transports
• Developing transport strategies
• Handling customs issues and export documentation
• Procurement of transportation providers and transport agreements
• Budget monitoring and cost control
• Collaboration with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders
• Monitoring ongoing transports and handling deviations
You will become part of a growing freight forwarding department where development opportunities are significant and where you will work on international projects with high complexity.
We are looking for you with:
• Higher education in logistics, international trade, or supply chain, or alternatively several years of experience in freight forwarding, import/export, or transport logistics
• At least 3 years of experience as a Logistics Project Manager/Transport Coordinator/Sub-project Manager in logistics within larger projects or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Knowledge of international transports and customs handling
Meritorious:
• Experience working with international deliveries
