JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to help shape the future of social services? The new Social Services Act represents the largest change to social services in several decades. We are now looking for you to help translate the law's intentions into concrete operational development and real benefits for residents. As a project manager, you will have a central role in the Social Services Department's transformation work. Together with management, supervisors, employees, and collaboration partners, you will drive development toward more preventive, accessible, and knowledge-based social services. As a project manager, you are responsible for coordinating, driving, and supporting the Social Services Department's work on the transition to the new Social Services Act. You will become part of the department's transformation team and work closely with the operations to create conditions for long-term development and sustainable change. Your responsibilities include: • leading and coordinating development and change initiatives • planning and implementing activities within the transformation work • supporting operations in implementing new work methods • conducting training, workshops, and dialogue initiatives • coordinating collaboration with internal and external stakeholders • monitoring, analyzing, and reporting results This is a project-based position with start date by agreement and runs until 2028-12-31. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an academic degree in social work, social sciences, political science, or another qualification that the employer deems relevant for the role. You have experience driving development, change, or implementation projects and are accustomed to leading processes from idea to implementation and follow-up. It is meritorious if you have: • experience in public sector operations • experience in social services, healthcare, or care • experience in project or process management • knowledge of the new Social Services Act • experience in collaboration between municipalities, regions, and other societal stakeholders To succeed in this role, you need to be organized, proactive, and have the ability to create engagement in others. You have strong analytical skills and can translate needs and goals into concrete development initiatives. You enjoy building relationships and collaborations and can adapt your communication to different target groups. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
