Are you a senior project manager with experience managing complex power grid or infrastructure projects in urban environments? This could be your next role. We are looking for someone experienced in driving technically and economically complex projects with responsibility spanning planning and procurement through execution, commissioning, and closeout. You will be responsible for major power grid projects in the Stockholm area, where requirements for budget management, contractor management, work environment, and coordination are a natural part of daily operations. This is a role for someone who is confident in the client/owner role and experienced in making decisions, managing risks, and driving projects with many stakeholders involved. You are expected to take independent responsibility for your projects while also contributing experience and support to less experienced project managers. This position is a consulting assignment, meaning you will be employed as a consultant through Futuria People and work at the client's site, with the possibility of direct recruitment by the client in the future. About the Company The client is an established company in Swedish energy and infrastructure with operations including Stockholm. The business encompasses development and maintenance of critical technical infrastructure with high standards for safety, quality, and long-term sustainability. You will become part of an established project organization and work on some of the company's more complex projects. Projects are carried out in dense urban environments and involve coordination with contractors, authorities, and other external parties. About the Position As a senior project manager, you are responsible for complex local grid projects from planning and procurement through execution, commissioning, and closeout. You are responsible for project timelines, budgets, quality, and risk, and represent the client in dealings with contractors and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities include: • Drive large and complex power grid projects in urban environments • Plan project scope, deliverables, schedules, and resources • Manage project budgets, estimates, forecasts, and financial monitoring • Execute and manage major procurements according to LUF • Manage construction contracts according to AB 04 and ABT 06 • Represent the client in dealings with contractors and other external parties • Oversee execution together with construction management and handle risks, deviations, and changes • Take responsibility for work environment matters in the design phase within the BAS P framework We are Looking for Someone Who • Has substantial experience independently managing complex technical projects within power grids, electrical power, infrastructure, or related fields • Has experience with projects in complex urban environments with multiple stakeholders and high coordination requirements • Has personally led at least one major procurement according to LUF as a project manager • Has solid knowledge of construction law and experience with AB 04 and ABT 06 • Is experienced in the client/owner role and representing the client in dealings with contractors • Has substantial experience with budgets, estimates, forecasts, and financial project monitoring • Has technical expertise in electrical power, power grids, or infrastructure (voltage levels between 0.4 and 20 kV) • Has BAS P training or equivalent competence in construction site safety • Communicates fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing • Has a category B driver's license Meritorious Qualifications • Experience from security-classified or other technically demanding environments • Experience with tunnel projects or major station replacements • Technical experience in both electrical and civil or infrastructure work • Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced project managers You Will Be Offered • A senior project manager role with responsibility for technically and economically complex projects • The opportunity to work with critical infrastructure in the Stockholm area • Independent responsibility throughout project execution • An established project organization with experienced colleagues in project management and technical disciplines Additional Information Start: By agreement Scope: Full-time, consulting assignment Location: Stockholm Submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
