We are looking for a committed and responsible project manager who wants to work with homework assistance, support for youth, and social sustainability. You will meet children and young people in their everyday lives, strengthen their motivation for studies, and contribute to meaningful leisure time. About the Position As a project manager, you will plan and implement homework assistance activities and create activities that promote community, participation, and future hope among children and young people. The work is conducted in collaboration with schools, libraries, associations, and other local actors. You report regularly to the project steering committee. You will Conduct homework assistance for children and young people Provide support on school-related questions and study techniques Motivate and encourage students in their learning Build trusting relationships with young people Plan and implement activities that strengthen community and participation Collaborate with schools, libraries, associations, and other actors Participate in local events and activities Document and follow up on activities Contribute to the development of the project's work We are looking for you who have experience working with children and young people in school or in leisure activities in associations. You have good pedagogical and communication skills and through your dedication you contribute to children and young people's growth. You are used to meeting people from many different cultures and backgrounds and see inclusion as a natural part of your working approach. You are also used to working digitally and see administration as a natural part of the job. You are creative when facing new needs and challenges and enjoy finding solutions. You feel comfortable in a job when you get to develop and take responsibility for an activity while also providing concrete support to children and young people who visit the activity. You have Experience from associations, school, or youth activities Experience working with children and young people Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Good knowledge of Somali and/or Arabic in speech and writing Merits Experience providing support to and building good relationships with children and young people with different linguistic and cultural backgrounds We offer Meaningful work where you make a difference for young people Opportunity to contribute to increased study motivation and better school results Varied work with many contacts and collaborations An engaged team and support from project management More about the Position Fixed-term employment 6 months with possible opportunity for extension.
