All around us, flowing through the ground, between buildings and districts, is a complex energy system that is the heart of our daily lives. At Luleå Energi, distribution electricians, project managers and specialists work together to ensure that Luleå's electrical grid is strong enough to meet the needs of the future. Now we are looking for a project manager who wants to be part of our journey and, together with the team, continue to develop the electrical grid for an electrified future. The Project Department's mission at Luleå Energi spans everything from reinvestment in power lines and substations in local and regional networks to new construction, renovations and expansions, as well as major connection projects for industrial and power customers. Do you want to lead projects that are vital to society and contribute to the development of future energy infrastructure? Luleå Energi Elnät is looking for a project manager who wants to lead these projects in our electrical grid at voltage levels 0.4–130 kV. About the role As a project manager, you will have the opportunity to drive and develop investment and installation projects within electrical grid operations from idea to completion. You are responsible for the project's economics, quality, timeline and work environment, and you coordinate and lead the work between colleagues, consultants and contractors. You also work with procurement, monitoring and reporting, and contribute to the planning and coordination of commissioning for new, renovated and expanded electrical grid installations. Through good planning and close collaboration with customers, authorities, landowners and other stakeholders, you ensure that projects are carried out in a safe, efficient and high-quality manner. This project manager role offers great variety, many contact points and the opportunity to influence the development of an important societal infrastructure. Therefore, we value initiative, collaboration and the desire to constantly improve work methods and processes. When asked what is best about working as a project manager in the Electrical Grid division at Luleå Energi, Daniel Niva, a team member, answers: "The best thing about working as a project manager here is the colleagues, the strong team spirit in the department and the freedom to take responsibility and drive the projects forward." What we are looking for Relevant post-secondary education in engineering, energy, construction, civil works or equivalent experience deemed comparable. Several years of experience in project management within energy, construction, civil works or other technical infrastructure. Negotiation experience and knowledge of contractor law. Knowledge of AB04, ABT06 and ABK09. Experience in work environment coordination in the role of BAS-P and/or BAS-U, or alternatively good knowledge of construction site safety work. Good financial understanding and experience in budget and cost management. Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Class B driver's license. It is a merit if you have experience with AMA/MER and work within electrical power and electrical grid operations. We also welcome you if you have built up your project management experience in other technical operations and have a strong interest in developing yourself within the electrical grid field. Who you are As a person, you are engaged, responsible and business-minded. You have the ability to build trust, establish relationships and get people to work toward common goals. You are organized and solution-oriented while thriving in an operation where collaboration, communication and safety are essential to success. You have the ability to create engagement, participation and good conditions for projects to succeed. You are driven by taking responsibility, developing the business and delivering results with high quality. What you get from us With us, you will have the opportunity to work with critical societal infrastructure in an industry that is at the center of electrification and the green transition. You become part of an engaged team where you have great responsibility, good development opportunities and the chance to influence the development of the future electrical grid for Luleå and the region. Luleå Energi values strong employee engagement and a sustainable work environment. We want to give you the right conditions to perform, develop and thrive in your work. Therefore, we offer, among other things, flexibility to work remotely based on operational needs and circumstances, as well as benefits focusing on health, wellness, recovery and work-life balance. With us, you work alongside engaged colleagues in an operation where collaboration, development and long-term thinking are in focus. Application Does this sound like something for you and do you want to be one of us in our team? Then send your application with CV and cover letter no later than Sunday, October 4. We warmly welcome your application! As a quality measure in our recruitment processes and as part of our systematic safety work, a background check will be conducted on the final candidate. The purpose is to ensure a safe work environment for our employees and to ensure that assets and information are protected.
