Do you want to drive projects – from idea to finished solution? Axelent is growing and is now looking for an experienced project manager who wants to become an important part of our team within the Product Department. In this role, you will drive both product development projects and other business projects that span multiple parts of the organization. This is a role for you if you like creating structure, getting people and functions to pull in the same direction, and ensuring that projects actually reach their goals. About the Role As a Project Manager at Axelent, you will lead and coordinate projects from idea to delivery. You work with both product development projects and strategic business projects, regardless of where in the organization they are initiated. You collaborate broadly with, among others, Product, R&D, Procurement, Quality, Production, IT, and Sales, and report to the Chief Product Officer. You create structure and momentum by keeping project plans together, following up on activities and deadlines, identifying risks, and ensuring clear communication and sound decision-making materials. Your Main Responsibilities Lead product development and business projects from start to delivery. Develop and follow up on project plans with affected functions and stakeholders. Ensure clear requirements, goals, and decision-making materials, such as Project Specification and Product Vision Board. Prepare materials for steering committee, management, and board meetings. Coordinate and distribute project tasks between departments and functions. Follow up on schedule, budget, quality, and goal fulfillment. Communicate project status and highlight risks, deviations, and decision needs. Drive improvements in project processes, procedures, and documentation. Be a cohesive communication link between the Product Department and the rest of the organization. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with documented experience leading and driving projects and who is confident in the project manager role. You have experience taking responsibility for the entirety of projects and are used to keeping together multiple different perspectives, functions, and stakeholders. You do not need to have a background from our industry. For us, your experience and ability to drive projects is more important than having worked in manufacturing or product development before. We would like to see that you have: Solid experience in project management and can independently take responsibility for project implementation. Experience with cross-functional work and coordinating different functions toward common goals. Good experience working structurally with project plans, follow-up, and documentation. Ability to lead and create momentum even without formal management responsibility. Ability to see the big picture, understand connections, and broaden your perspective when needed. Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Class B driver's license, as occasional business travel occurs. Relevant higher education in, for example, engineering or economics is meritorious but not required. The same applies to formal project management certification – practical experience carries weight for us. You find it easy to collaborate and build trust between different functions. You can lead and prioritize without formal management authority and combine clarity and momentum with a straightforward and inclusive working style.
