Responsibilities As a project engineer, you're responsible for the technical delivery across different project phases. You translate customer and technical requirements into viable solutions and ensure proper documentation, inspections, and verifications are in place. Work is conducted in close collaboration with project management, customers, suppliers, and other technical functions. A key part of the role is to develop, review, and update engineering documents, construction drawings, assembly instructions, test specifications, and relationship documentation. You also work with digital document management in the customer's systems and ensure documents are properly tagged with metadata, version-controlled, and delivered according to project requirements. Depending on your technical background, the role may also include configuring and integrating technical systems. You'll then participate in setting up test environments, troubleshooting, and verification before and after installation. Testing can be conducted in factory environments, on-site at installations, and in actual or simulated operation through FAT, SAT, and OAT. Work is conducted both from the Göteborg office and at customer facilities. Business travel may therefore occur. You will, among other things: Develop, review, and update technical documents, test specifications, and relationship documentation. Manage technical requirements and follow up and document how they are verified through different project phases. Plan and participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and verification, including FAT, SAT, and OAT. Provide technical support, troubleshoot systems, and coordinate solutions together with customers, suppliers, and internal functions. Support project management with technical planning, document management, and follow-up. Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Post-secondary education in, for example, electrical engineering, civil engineering, automation, or other relevant technical field Basic knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read and understand technical documents Basic knowledge of data communication, for example data and networks Knowledge of CAD and/or electrical design is a merit Fluent Swedish skills in speech and writing, good English skills in speech and writing Valid driver's license (category B) To thrive in this role, you take initiative when you see something that needs investigation or follow-up. At the same time, you understand that technical deliveries require careful documentation and that details can be critical for requirements, tests, and installations to be correct. When problems arise, you work methodically to understand the cause and find a working solution. You can switch between independent work and collaboration with project managers, technicians, customers, and suppliers. Because the role involves many interfaces, you also need to be able to explain technical matters clearly and adapt your communication to your audience.
