As Project Manager at Erikssunds El, you will have overall responsibility for project operations and play a key role in the company's continued growth. About the role As Project Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing Erikssunds El's project organization. You have overall responsibility for the project portfolio and ensure that projects are executed with good profitability, high quality, satisfied customers, and a safe work environment. You report directly to the CEO and become a central person between company management, project managers, work supervisors, electricians, customers, and business partners. The role involves leading and developing the project organization through project managers and work supervisors, but also taking an active role in selected projects when the business requires it. You are expected to contribute both strategically and operatively, support the business on technical and commercial matters, and drive the development of work methods, structure, and project management. An important part of the role is contact with our end customers. You build long-term relationships, identify needs, uncover new project opportunities, and actively contribute to developing the business over time. Key responsibilities • Lead and develop the project organization • Coach, support, and monitor project managers and work supervisors • Manage project portfolio economics, profitability, and forecasts • Ensure good resource planning across projects • Participate in major customer meetings, negotiations, and commercial discussions • Handle contract-related matters, change orders, and agreements • Independently drive selected projects and contracts with responsibility for customer relations, economics, execution, and results • Actively work with existing and new customers, identify project opportunities, and drive business from initial customer contact through quotation and order • Ensure quality, work environment, and follow-up in projects • Contribute to the development of procedures, work methods, and project management • Participate in recruitment and competency development Experience We are looking for someone with solid background in electrical contracting who understands both the technical and business aspects of the operation. We see that you have: • At least 15 years of experience from electrical installation or contracting industry • Electrical technical background, such as electrician, lead technician, work supervisor, or project manager • Certification as an electrical installer • Experience from leadership roles such as project manager, contract manager, department manager, or operations manager • Experience leading project managers and work supervisors • Good understanding of contract law, economics, and project management • Experience with major contracting projects and profit responsibility Meritorious competencies • Engineering degree in, for example, electrical engineering, electrical power, energy, or installation technology • Experience from larger installation or contracting companies • Experience with business and project systems such as Entré • Experience with procurement, supplier negotiations, and commercial matters Personal qualities To succeed in the role, we believe you are: • Business-minded and results-oriented • Clear and confident in your leadership • Structured and organized • Relationship-building and communicative • Professional and collaboration-oriented • Decisive with strong execution ability • Solution-focused and responsible You have the ability to create engagement, build trust, and at the same time set requirements when the situation demands it.
