The role offers substantial authority and clear responsibility for leading projects through all phases, from early project preparation and design through to completion and handover. About the Role As Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for project execution, results, and long-term success. You lead and coordinate the project organization and are responsible for driving the project toward established goals regarding finances, schedule, quality, work environment, and customer satisfaction. You are responsible for developing the product and lead the design process in close collaboration with production, the client, consultants, and other specialist functions within Peab. The role carries significant responsibility for customer relationships, contract matters, business decisions, and strategic choices throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, you represent Peab to clients and partners and have a key function in building trusted relationships and ensuring successful collaboration among all project stakeholders. Your Main Responsibilities Lead and manage projects through all phases, from project development and design through production and handover. Have overall responsibility for project finances, forecasts, risk management, and results. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, consultants, and partners. Responsible for major contract matters, negotiations, and business decisions. Ensure that the project meets requirements for quality, safety, work environment, and sustainability. Lead and develop the project organization and create conditions for effective collaboration between design and production. Manage complex technical and organizational issues and make decisions that move the project forward. Contribute to lessons learned and development of working methods within the organization. Who Are You? We are looking for an experienced and business-minded leader with the ability to create structure, engagement, and results in complex project environments. You thrive in a role where you can combine strategic thinking with operational leadership and have the ability to see both the big picture and details. As a person, you are communicative, relationship-oriented, and confident in making decisions even in challenging situations. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: A degree in construction engineering or equivalent experience. At least five years of experience as a Project Manager or in a comparable leadership role in the construction industry. Documented experience leading major construction projects in collaborative forms with project values of around 500 million kronor or more. Experience with both public and commercial construction projects. Experience with projects in security-classified operations, critical infrastructure, or similar environments with high safety requirements. Very strong understanding of contract matters, project management, finances, and risk management. Experience leading large project organizations with many stakeholders.
