Job Responsibilities The Communications Unit's mission is to lead, coordinate, and develop the department's internal and external communications. The unit supports operations in planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives while ensuring coordinated and effective communications. The assignment encompasses both strategic and operational communication work. This position is a one-year appointment with possible extension. We are now seeking an experienced communications professional with a pedagogical focus who is passionate about sustainability, circular economy, and reuse. Your assignment is to raise awareness and create attention around our circular economy parks, with a focus on the new circular economy park in Högsbo opening in January 2027. You will be part of the communications unit with five communications professionals, a communications strategist, and the communications manager as your direct supervisor. You will perform your daily work closely with the waste operations department and largely on-site at Kretsloppspark Högsbo. Kretsloppspark Högsbo is a modern, sustainable, and innovative operation with great interest in hosting study visits. Your task will be to develop inspiring concepts and content for the study visit program and to continuously improve it. You will also conduct the study visits, and it is important that you are skilled at storytelling, inspiring others, and getting people to listen. You think, act, and work creatively to communicate our environmental messages effectively. You enjoy meeting people and are comfortable speaking to large groups. Your assignment also includes strategic communication work to raise awareness and strengthen the profile of Kretslopp and Vatten's circular economy operations and reuse initiatives. You will maintain the graphic profile for printed materials, signage, and other communications at the circular economy parks. You are responsible for coordinating and developing tone and graphic expression on social media. You will also work with the operation's customer and operational communications to best meet residents' needs for reuse and recycling. Qualifications University degree in communication studies or equivalent education. Requirements: Experience with strategic communication work and developing communication materials. Experience working with educational programs such as study visit programs or educational activities. Experience working with social media content creation and development. Very strong English language skills to conduct study visits in English. Merits: Experience with brand profiling. Experience with customer and operational communications.
