We will entrust you with:
ensuring coordination or management of real property construction projects necessary for the Ministry of Interior and its subordinate institutions during preliminary studies, design and construction work. Monitoring and supervising the construction of buildings and structures, including renovation, restoration, demolition, and compliance with concluded contracts;
participating in the development of infrastructure development plans for real property objects of the Ministry of Interior and planning their implementation within your scope of competence;
analyzing opportunities for implementing and developing new projects;
budget development, planning and financial performance control;
participating in the work of Public Procurement Commissions, preparing technical specifications and other documentation necessary for procurement procedures in accordance with job duties;
preparing internal and external regulatory acts, information reports and policy planning documents, initiatives and response letters within the competencies specified for the position;
organizing and conducting technical inspections of new construction, renovation and reconstruction real property objects of the Ministry of Interior, ensuring or preparing materials on inspection results.
Our requirements:
* at least first level professional higher education in construction or engineering;
additional education in construction is desirable, confirmed by certificates or documents certifying education completion;
experience in managing, supervising or coordinating construction projects, implementing infrastructure projects using European Union or other foreign financial instruments (indicate in the application the projects in which you participated);
knowledge of applicable regulatory acts regulating construction and public procurement fields; ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, express and defend opinions on matters within your competence. Good communication skills;
Latvian language knowledge (education acquired in Latvian or B2 level grade 2), good computer skills (MS Office); Skills in working with AutoCAD, BIM or other design software will be considered an advantage;
