Engagement If you are ready for new challenges, to use your knowledge and experience, to gain professional experience in public administration while contributing to strengthening public safety in Latvia, you are invited to join the State Probation Service team by applying for the position of Coordinator of the Thematic Block for Implementation of Resocialization Instruments and Services in the Resocialization Department within the State Probation Service project - Support for Probation Client Resocialization (1 vacancy for a fixed period, for the duration of the project) Requirements for applicants: academic or second-level higher education; desirable experience in public administration and project implementation; desirable experience in financial resource planning and control; experience in document management; experience in information compilation and preparation; understanding of the importance of cooperation between the state, municipalities, and non-governmental sectors; understanding of the integration of offenders into society; excellent event organization skills; good communication, presentation, and cooperation skills; good Latvian language proficiency in speech and writing; good computer skills; desirable knowledge of English. Main job responsibilities: organize, plan, and supervise the activities of the Resocialization Instruments and Services Implementation Thematic Block (hereinafter - Block); ensure the Block's financial resources are utilized in accordance with the project's supported activities implementation plan and budget; participate in the development of the Block's activity plan, analysis of results, and their compilation; ensure organization of the Block's administrative and financial documentation; ensure quality information exchange on project implementation matters; prepare technical specifications necessary for the Block's activities for procurement and price inquiry purposes. We offer you: monthly salary from 1653.00 EUR to 2066.00 EUR (before tax) in accordance with the assessment of individual salary setting criteria; health insurance policy from the first day of work; vacation allowance up to 50%; additional vacation up to 9 working days; the opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain professional experience in public administration while contributing to strengthening public safety in Latvia; dynamic work in a development-oriented state administration institution that has received "Family-Friendly Workplace" status; the opportunity to apply flexible working hours (starting work one hour earlier and leaving one hour earlier, or starting one hour later and leaving one hour later); the opportunity to work both on-site and remotely; workplace location in Riga, Valērijas Seiles iela 9-1.
