Rudbeck is now seeking an engaged and courageous educational leader who wants to take responsibility for two of our technology-intensive programs and drive school development together with colleagues, students, and parents.
Rudbeck is Sollentuna municipality's municipal upper secondary school and is located next to Edsviken and the beautiful Edsbergsparken, two miles north of Stockholm. The school has approximately 2,400 students and around 250 employees. We offer a broad range of programs and specializations which contribute to fantastic diversity, making Rudbeck one of the Greater Stockholm area's most popular upper secondary schools.
Job Description
As a Program Director at Rudbeck, you will be responsible for the Technology Program as well as the Electrical and Energy Program. Your task is to lead and coordinate the educational work with a focus on high goal achievement and continuous development. You are responsible for personnel, budget, and work environment within your area, according to delegation.
In close collaboration with other principals and the school director, you plan, follow up, and evaluate instruction and drive systematic quality work. You represent the operation as a whole in various contexts and build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, parents, union representatives, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience as a principal, preferably in upper secondary school, or many years of experience as an assistant principal at the upper secondary level. You have teacher training or other equivalent pedagogical education as well as a degree from the state principal training program.
You are an engaged and courageous educational leader with the ability to inspire and motivate both colleagues and students. As a leader, you are clear and results-oriented, and you direct the operation in accordance with national and municipal goals as well as the school's governing documents.
We see that you have experience with school development and leading in change processes, as well as experience working strategically to improve the school's pedagogical activities. You have very strong collaboration skills, particularly in working with other program directors, and you promote a culture characterized by collegial learning and collaboration based on professional experience and current research.
You have well-developed communication skills in both speech and writing, as well as good digital competence.
