BAE Systems Bofors is in an expansive phase and is now seeking several program managers for its Program and Aftermarket Department. The recruitments concern two product areas: Land and Marine. The employment is directly with BAE Systems Bofors AB. The recruitment process is handled by AxÖ Consulting. About the Role As a program manager, you have overall responsibility for leading and coordinating customer commitments from business to delivery. You are responsible for the program's execution and ensure that goals are achieved regarding time, cost, quality, and business results. You lead cross-functional teams with representatives from, among others, development, production, quality, procurement, and finance. The role involves many contact points both internally and externally, where you function as a central link between customer, operations, and business. Examples of Work Tasks Ensure resource allocation and prioritization within the program Drive and follow up on finances, schedules, risks, and quality Collaborate closely with product management, technical organization, finance, and market Be the program's primary point of contact with the customer Identify business opportunities and contribute to further development of existing contracts Contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and methodology Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you—a confident and experienced leader with the ability to create structure and momentum in complex contexts. You have a business-oriented approach and thrive with taking responsibility for both the whole and the results. We would like to see that you have Higher education or university degree in, for example, engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent, or experience deemed equivalent Experience leading larger projects, programs, or complex deliveries Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written A structured working method and good ability to prioritize Experience collaborating with many different stakeholders Negotiation experience and experience with contract work Ability to take clear overall responsibility in business-critical commitments It is advantageous if you have experience from the defense industry or other technically advanced and complex operations.
