Then this assignment might be for you. We are now seeking an engaged and trustworthy Product Specialist/Educator for a leading and highly reputable medical technology company within diabetes care.
Location: Västra Götalandsregionen (with focus on hospitals/clinics in the region)
Scope: Part-time (approximately 2–3 days/week, minimum 4 hours/day) with good opportunities for extension
Employment Type: Consulting assignment via Randstad Care
Start: By agreement
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the company's face toward both healthcare staff and patients at pediatric and adult diabetes clinics, primarily in Västra Götalandsregionen. The hospitals have very high confidence in our client, and your assignment is to maintain and strengthen that trust in every interaction.
Your main work tasks:
Conduct and support pump starts for children and adults living with Type 1 diabetes (individually or in groups).
Educate patients and healthcare staff in the use of modern insulin pumps, glucose sensors (CGM), reservoirs, infusion sets, and advanced algorithms.
Work closely with diabetes nurses and doctors at the clinics.
Be a reliable point of contact at the clinics and build good relationships with the care teams.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you need to have a genuine and deep understanding of Type 1 diabetes and the technology used today. We are looking for someone who fits into one of the following backgrounds:
Nurse / Diabetes Nurse: You have clinical experience from diabetes care at a hospital or clinic and want to work more focused with medical technology and education.
Medical Technology Background: You have experience as a product specialist, sales representative, or educator within medical technology with a focus on diabetes.
Strong Personal/Experience-Based Connection: You live with the technology yourself (Type 1 diabetes) or are a parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes, and have combined this with experience from healthcare, education, or sales/service.
Qualities We Value:
You are calm, confident, and skilled at explaining complex technology in a simple and straightforward way for both children, adults, and healthcare staff.
You are good at building networks and instilling confidence in healthcare settings.
You are comfortable with a varied part-time schedule and can adapt your working days according to the clinics' needs and pump starts.
