About the Role As a Production Technician, you will have a central role in developing and improving production. You will work on developing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient, safe, and quality manufacturing. The role involves daily close collaboration with operators, maintenance technicians, team leaders, and other functions in the organization. You are expected to be out in the operations, understand the production flow in detail, and identify opportunities for improvement. Work takes place on-site at the office and production facility in Skövde every day. You work independently within your area while being part of cross-functional teams where you collectively drive the development and improvement of operations. Communication and collaboration occur primarily in Swedish. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Develop and improve production processes for efficient and safe manufacturing. Analyze production data, cycle times, and takt times to identify improvement opportunities. Design and develop production layouts, workstations, and production flows. Prepare value stream analyses and optimize material and production flows. Conduct tests and verifications of production processes and technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve production-related problems together with relevant functions. Conduct risk analyses and ensure that processes comply with applicable requirements and guidelines. Participate in developing technical solutions and provide support regarding manufacturability and production requirements. Participate in and drive improvement projects together with operators, maintenance, and management. Work with layouts and development of production environments in CAD. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Engineering degree or vocational qualification in production engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, or similar field. Knowledge to analyze and develop production processes. Knowledge of improvement work in manufacturing industry. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Good technical understanding and ability to work closely with operations. Desirable Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of Power BI. Experience with Inventor or AutoCAD. Experience with value stream analyses. Experience from larger manufacturing industry. Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented.
