I look forward to welcoming our next consultant in Halmstad." - Angelica Mäenpää, Consultant Manager at AxÖ Consulting AxÖ Consulting is seeking an experienced production technician for a consulting assignment with one of our industrial clients in Halmstad. You'll work close to production providing technical support, problem-solving, and development of manufacturing processes in a growing operation. The assignment is initially six months and starts by agreement. Your Future Challenge In this role, you'll work on creating stable and well-functioning production. You move between daily work on the manufacturing floor and longer-term technical matters. One day you investigate the cause of a deviation, the next day you update an instruction or prepare production for a new work step. You maintain ongoing contact with operators, managers, engineers, and other technical functions. Together you ensure that products, methods, and documentation work in practice. You'll also be part of a production engineering team where you share experiences and help drive the work forward. Your main areas of responsibility are to: Monitor production and identify causes of disruptions and deviations. Develop measures that strengthen quality, delivery capability, and efficiency. Develop methods and flows for stable manufacturing. Prepare and implement new work steps and technical solutions. Create and update process plans, routings, and work instructions. Provide technical support to operators and managers. Participate in projects, production meetings, and improvement initiatives. Follow up on decided activities and ensure work progresses. The operation is developing its working methods with support from Lean and agile principles. You'll therefore have the opportunity to contribute your experience and help shape how production engineering work is conducted. Are You the One We're Looking For? We're looking for someone who is confident in their production engineering expertise and experienced in independently handling multiple parallel tasks. You work in a structured way, prioritize based on the operation's needs, and drive your work from analysis to completed action. The role involves many contact points. Therefore, you need to be communicative and enjoy collaborating closely with production. We're looking for someone who has: A diploma or master's degree in, for example, production engineering, mechanical engineering, or a corresponding field. At least five years of experience as a production technician. Experience working at the interface between design and production. A strong understanding of process-driven manufacturing and production flows. Very strong analytical ability. Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Good experience with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Experience with Creo. It's a merit if you have experience from manufacturing or product development.
