About the Job We are now seeking a Production Technician for our factory in Bankeryd where we manufacture brushes and rollers for professional painters and DIY enthusiasts. With us, you will become part of a dedicated technical team responsible for production equipment and facilities. At the Bankeryd factory, we have close collaboration and an unpretentious culture where we help each other to reach common goals. Our equipment is both older and modern, which requires broad technical/mechanical understanding and curiosity about future technologies. You will, among other things: Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment Contribute to increased safety, operational reliability, quality, and efficiency Plan and develop preventive maintenance Ensure that documentation and spare parts management maintain high quality Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors Participate in and influence investments and technical improvements Your Palette We are looking for you who: Have good knowledge of electronics and mechanics Enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems practically Have experience with industrial production and equipment, both older and newer technology Are unpretentious and naturally collaborate with colleagues and external partners Understand when you can solve a challenge yourself and when it is wise to ask for help Have good computer skills and feel comfortable working in various business, maintenance, and follow-up systems for planning, documentation, ordering, and analysis. Education in production engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, maintenance engineering, or equivalent technical field. Alternatively, equivalent experience through several years of documented technical work within manufacturing industry. If you additionally have experience in control and regulation technology, we see that as a major plus and valuable expertise for the future. Knowledge of our products or facility technical systems is a merit, but not a requirement. A driver's license is a requirement.
