About the Position
Are you an analytical and business-driven person who thrives at the intersection of production, data, and planning? We are now seeking a Production Controller for our client in the automotive industry, where you will play a key role in ensuring efficient production flows and on-time deliveries. In this role, you will work closely with multiple departments and use data as a tool to identify improvement areas, optimize production, and support the business in both strategic and operational decisions. This is an exciting opportunity for you to combine analysis, production, and digital development in a dynamic industrial environment.
Assignment Duration: This is a full-time consulting position with immediate start and running until March 26, 2027, with good prospects for extension.
Examples of Responsibilities
Develop and improve processes for production management to ensure on-time deliveries.
Monitor daily production data and analyze deviations from plan.
Identify and escalate potential bottlenecks and production disruptions.
Serve as a key user of the company's production planning system.
Prepare analyses, reports, and dashboards related to production and capacity planning.
Support the planning function with decision-making materials for both operational and strategic decisions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, assembly, and sales to ensure production capacity meets customer demand.
Work on automation and development of reporting and analysis tools.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills and high technical competence in business systems and IT tools, with particular focus on data automation, analysis, and visualization. You thrive in an environment where you can combine operational work with long-term improvement initiatives and have the ability to identify patterns in large datasets. As a person, you are solution-oriented, quality-conscious, and proactive in your work. You work well collaboratively with different departments and communicate clearly with both technical and business-oriented stakeholders. Furthermore, you have strong drive and take responsibility for moving your work forward.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in industrial economics, logistics, supply chain management, production engineering, or other relevant field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in production management, production planning, or supply chain management.
Experience from manufacturing industry, preferably in the automotive industry or other complex production environment.
Very good knowledge of Power BI and experience building reports and dashboards.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Meritorious if you have experience with Power Automate or similar automation tools.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
