We continuously expand and upgrade our machinery with automatic presses and automation cells. We manufacture and deliver components primarily to the automotive industry, and our largest customers are Volvo Trucks and Scania. We have approximately 230 employees, annual revenues of around 950 million, and we need to strengthen our organization with a Production Manager for the tools department. The Tools Department is responsible for both design and manufacturing of tools. We have access to modern machinery, including several 3- and 5-axis multi-operation machines, wire EDM machines, as well as manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders. Your Responsibilities As Production Manager for the tools department, you will work together with the department manager to lead and develop the department and its approximately 20 employees. The position offers excellent opportunities to influence and leave your mark on the department's continued development. Your main responsibilities include: - Personnel management, with a focus on leading, coaching, and developing employees. - Develop the department and drive improvement initiatives - Collaborate with other internal departments such as engineering, maintenance, procurement, planning, projects, and quality. The role involves close cooperation with production. - Ensure a safe and healthy work environment - Lead and distribute work tasks - Set, follow up on, and analyze goals for both employees and the department as a whole. You are good at building relationships, service-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Perhaps you work today as a toolmaker or designer and want to take the next step in your career. Alternatively, you have experience as a production manager or leadership experience from industry and are looking for a role where you can use your skills in new ways and continue to develop with us. It is beneficial if you have knowledge of Monitor ERP, Solid Works, Catia, Mastercam, and experience working in the automotive industry.
