About the Role As a Production Manager for Vehicle Maintenance, you are responsible for leading, planning, and monitoring daily operations within vehicle maintenance. You ensure that work is conducted safely and efficiently, and that established procedures, quality standards, and work methods are followed. The role involves a strong focus on operational management, work environment, and quality. You monitor operational results and KPIs, identify deviations, and ensure that corrective measures are implemented. You also play an important role in introducing and training employees, as well as implementing new work tasks and procedures. Vehicle maintenance comprises over 400 vehicles and operations are conducted at six locations: Norrtälje, Rimbo, Märsta, Åkersberga, Vallentuna, and Täby. You report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager and work closely with, among others, the service manager, depot managers, and production staff. Working hours are primarily scheduled for night shifts, which means regular night work. Your Main Responsibilities Lead, plan, and monitor daily work within vehicle maintenance. Ensure that procedures, instructions, and established work methods are followed. Monitor and analyze KPIs including customer satisfaction, productivity, quality, absenteeism, safety, self-inspections, and training status. Identify deviations and implement corrective measures. Conduct self-inspections and ensure that quality standards are met. Plan and conduct introductory and refresher training. Be responsible for work environment, order, and safety within the vehicle maintenance facilities. Conduct work environment inspections and risk assessments. Ensure that employees use prescribed safety equipment. Ensure that chemicals are handled and stored in accordance with applicable legal requirements and internal procedures. Monitor equipment, machinery, and facilities, and initiate action when necessary. Implement new work tasks and contribute to standardization and 5S initiatives. Report operational results and improvement suggestions to the Regional Vehicle Maintenance Manager. What We're Looking For You have a high school diploma. Post-secondary education in areas such as leadership, production, technology, quality, or work environment is an advantage. You have experience in work supervision or operational leadership. You have knowledge and experience in work environment management and quality assurance. You have experience with KPI management and budget monitoring. You have knowledge of chemical handling. You have good system proficiency and experience with Office 365. You have strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you need to be organized and clear in your leadership style and enjoy working close to daily operations. You have the ability to plan and prioritize work, monitor results, and take action when something deviates. You also need to be able to create engagement around shared work methods and contribute to a safe and well-functioning work environment.
