Now we are strengthening our offering within the defense and manufacturing industries and are seeking an experienced production engineer who wants to be part of developing the production of the future.
About the Role
As a production engineer at Combitech, you will support our customers in production technology and industrialization while contributing to the development of their methods, processes, and ways of working.
You will be a key person at the interface between design and production and work to ensure efficient, quality-assured, and sustainable production solutions.
The position is placed at our office in Göteborg. The initial assignment will be carried out at a customer location in Halmstad, which means you will primarily work there during the course of the assignment, while also being part of and collaborating with the team in Göteborg.
As a consultant with us, future assignments may be carried out in other locations. Therefore, your place of employment is Göteborg, even though the current assignment is located in Halmstad.
Examples of Work Tasks
Production planning and industrialization of products and processes
Be the link between the design and production organizations
Develop and improve production processes using Lean principles
Participate in or lead process and P/FMEA analyses
Create work and assembly instructions
Establish control plans and quality assurance documentation
Contribute to continuous improvements in production, quality, and efficiency
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is a graduate engineer or has equivalent experience in production technology and has several years of practical experience from manufacturing industry.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Documented experience in production planning, preferably from the automotive industry or other complex manufacturing environments
Experience working closely with both design and production
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with process and P/FMEA work
Ability to create work instructions, assembly instructions, and control plans
Good communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration
