In your role as a Production Engineer, you will work with production development together with our customers throughout Västerås. You will be close to daily production and work on developing, optimizing, and improving production processes. The tasks are varied and can include machinery procurement, automation, workplace design, problem-solving, creation and updating of work instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work both operatively and from a development perspective, where together with production and other functions you identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives that contribute to more efficient and stable production.
What we expect from you
We would like you to have experience with MTM-SAM, SAT/FAT, machining, automation, and/or flow simulation. Experience with production technical work in production, such as optimization, problem-solving, improvement initiatives, and creation of work instructions.
Requirements for the role:
An academic degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or equivalent technical education.
At least 5 years of work experience in the role of Production Engineer.
Previous experience with risk analysis, workplace design, and/or machinery procurement.
Experience with production technical work and improvement initiatives.
Experience working close to production with optimization and continuous improvements.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluid knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
Meritorious:
Experience as a Team Lead, Production Manager, or similar leadership responsibility.
Experience with automation.
