Job description: Production Manager at Orkla Foods Sverige in Eslöv In Eslöv, Orkla Foods Sverige operates its largest production facility with four factories/departments, 24 internal warehouses, and an annual production of 48,000 tons of food. About the role As Production Manager at our factory in Eslöv, you will directly oversee two of the four production departments. Approximately 100 employees work in production across these two departments, ensuring we reliably deliver our well-known brands and products to the market every day. Orkla's Eslöv factory is characterized by expertise, positivity, and genuine commitment, with great pride in our products and methods. In your role, you will lead a team of production leaders who are confident, experienced, and quality-conscious in their positions. As their leader, you will motivate, inspire, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring profitable and optimized production. We are in the midst of a transformation journey where great emphasis is placed on standardizing work processes, methods, and digital solutions to improve operational costs and efficiency. Key challenges include more efficient use of our enterprise system (SAP, calculations), employee skill development, and standardization of processes and methods across all production departments. You will report directly to the Eslöv factory manager and be part of the unit's management group as the production representative. Your responsibilities will include the following tasks: Lead and continue developing the operation, team, and coach employees according to Orkla's core values. Responsible for managing production setup with focus on productivity, cost, and delivery reliability. Personnel and budget responsibility for the production area. Occupational health and safety responsibility to ensure that work in the department is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and that we work proactively on health and safety. Ensure that the department's quality work is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations with the aim of achieving product quality and food safety according to applicable customer and internal Orkla requirements. Responsible for or support major investment projects at the factory. Drive continuous improvement work in collaboration with the factory's support departments. Development of annual investment plans with corresponding Capex budgets. Responsible for management and compliance of our SAP enterprise system within production. Your background You hold an academic degree in a relevant field that provides you with the theoretical understanding to lead world-class production. You have experience in personnel management, employee development, project management, and budget-driven financial management or other important performance metrics for the operation. Your experience comes from a similar position, which has given you the insights required to navigate successfully in this area. You are experienced with SAP, production data systems, and the food industry, with solid experience in calculation tracking, report generation, information analysis, and systematically identifying root causes. Based on this, you create realistic and practical solutions through concrete improvement initiatives. You are creative and innovative in your approach and have the ability to develop new and original ideas as well as innovative methods to solve complex problems. You are a strong team player who promotes collaboration and shares knowledge and information. You contribute to positive team spirit.
