About the Role Would you like to lead production and logistics in the heart of Swedish food production? We are now seeking a Production and Logistics Manager for our operation in Kungshamn – a key role for someone who wants to combine strategic leadership with operational development in an environment where quality, food safety, efficiency, and people are at the center. Here you will lead managers, develop work methods, and drive improvements that make a difference both in day-to-day operations and for future production. About the Role As Production and Logistics Manager, you are responsible for operational activities related to incoming raw materials, aging processes, preparation, manufacturing, and material flows. You lead a major part of the factory's operational organization, with responsibility for approximately 140 employees out of a total of 185–200 employees at the facility. The role includes direct leadership of six production managers with different areas of responsibility within production, logistics, and the raw materials center, as well as the planning and call-off manager, who in turn leads a team of three employees. You lead the operations function toward short- and long-term goals within EHS, quality, delivery reliability, and cost efficiency. The role is located in beautiful Kungshamn, reports to the factory manager, and is an important part of the factory's management team. You will have a broad mandate to develop people, flows, processes, and structure within your area of responsibility. What You Will Have the Opportunity to Work With Lead, coach, and develop managers and direct reports within the operations function. Set goals, create structure, and ensure clear expectations and conditions for success. Drive strategic planning, goal-setting, and implementation for the entire function. Develop and implement standardized work methods, methods, and processes. Ensure efficient material and information flows as well as optimal production and staffing planning. Lead change and improvement initiatives, including projects related to productivity, quality, environment, and workplace environment. Monitor and analyze KPIs including EHS, food safety, quality, delivery precision, productivity, OEE, and costs. Drive improvement work with a clear focus on increasing OEE, efficiency, and stability in production as well as within other areas of responsibility. Gather and use relevant data, analyze results, draw conclusions, and translate insights into concrete recommendations and decisions. Communicate analyses, initiatives, and recommendations in a structured and clear manner, for example through decision documents and presentations. Be responsible for budget, inventory value, inventory process, and identified cost savings within the function. Ensure that operations comply with applicable laws and requirements related to workplace environment, food safety, and quality. Job Requirements We are Looking for Someone Who To succeed in this role, we would like you to have, at its foundation, relevant education in, for example, industrial economics, production management, leadership, supply chain, Lean production, or equivalent experience that we consider equivalent. You have documented experience leading managers at a strategic level, personnel management, and change initiatives in a manufacturing operation. Experience leading managers and developing employees through others. Experience from manufacturing industry and production management. Experience in financial management against budget and other targets. Experience driving organizational development, major change initiatives, and projects. Good knowledge of industrial management, budgeting, financial management, flows, and material processes. Good knowledge of Lean Production, logistics, production planning, and continuous improvements. Ability to create cohesive teams, build structure, and manage complex collaborations. Strong analytical ability and experience working data-driven, from data collection and analysis to conclusion, recommendation, and presentation. Ability to lead through others, while being confident in stepping in yourself, driving tasks forward, and determining when to delegate versus taking responsibility for implementation. Very good communication skills in Swedish and English. It is Also an Advantage If You Have Experience from the food industry. Knowledge of SAP or MES.
