Assignment Description
We are seeking a strategic Product Manager in IT who, during a transition period, will establish, develop, and lead a product organization within a complex public sector operation.
You will be responsible for setting the product's direction, translating long-term organizational goals into roadmaps, and creating structure, transparency, and clear prioritization. The role also involves identifying dependencies and ensuring that IT solutions are developed and maintained with high quality, cost-effectiveness, and continuous value creation.
The product encompasses multiple solutions within digital document management, including records management, e-archives, digital templates, and digital mail. You will lead a cross-functional team of approximately 20 people, including developers, architects, and product owners, and need to be able to drive progress even when circumstances are unclear.
Mandatory Requirements
You must have at least 5 years of experience in strategic product management or equivalent leading IT role, including translating goals into product visions and roadmaps in larger organizations.
You must have at least 8 years of experience in leading roles within IT delivery, such as project or operations manager, through cross-functional teams in large organizations.
You must have at least 5 years of experience in leading roles with various frameworks and delivery models, such as ITIL and pm3, in parallel with agile approaches throughout the product lifecycle.
You must have at least 3 years of experience establishing structures, processes, and ways of working in a product and delivery-oriented IT organization.
You must be able to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable Qualifications
You should have experience establishing or developing a product-oriented IT organization with scaled agile approaches.
You should have experience in leading work with IT products or IT services within storage, archives, digital mail, or related areas, including relevant business processes.
You should have experience in change management focused on improved delivery precision and clarity in complex organizations.
You should have experience leading products, assignments, or change initiatives in complex and dynamic environments, with responsibility for creating structure, clarity, and progress when circumstances, goals, or priorities change.
