Process Operator

As a shift-based process operator in the Energy division, you are part of the daily operations during your shift. We have continuous operations, which means day and night shifts seven days a week, year-round. Your main responsibility is to monitor and optimize the operation of our solid fuel boilers so we can deliver heat to our customers both within and outside the industrial area. The division is also responsible for compressed air and water supply to other divisions and customers in the industrial area. SCA has an agreement with Sundsvalls Energi and supplies heat to the district heating network in the form of both waste heat and primary heat. You will work in a shift team of four process operators, and your responsibilities include actively contributing to a safe working environment and ensuring we meet our delivery commitments. You will contribute through rounds, troubleshooting, and improvement work and should also strive for optimal operating conditions so we achieve our production goals. It is desirable, but not required, if you have previous experience with solid fuel boilers and are a certified boiler operator.
