The Department of Culture and Education has a range of activities affected by the ongoing city transformation in Kiruna. We now need to expand with a process manager who focuses on various types of impact assessments and risk evaluations ahead of the upcoming reorganization of the school organization. The assignment involves ensuring that decisions regarding the future school organization are made based on well-founded impact analyses, risk assessments and operational perspectives. You will be part of the Department of Culture and Education's central office and participate in a coordination group regarding city transformation for preschool and school. You will collaborate with several functions within the department and other parts of the municipal group. You report directly to the department head. You will work with various types of investigations that may involve, for example, safe school routes, demographic development, meal organization, logistics, child impact analyses and more. Additional work tasks and perspectives will be added. The work involves both independent work and participating in and leading processes together with others. WORK TASKS As a process manager with a focus on impact assessments and risk evaluations, you will work closely with the affected people and operations that will be moved during the city transformation. This means that you will, for example: · lead investigation processes · coordinate stakeholders · prepare decision-making materials · identify risks and consequences · ensure that different perspectives are considered Concrete examples of work tasks: · Dialogue with different target groups · Gathering facts and perspectives · Analyses and compilations · Participate in existing groups and create, lead and coordinate new groups · Internal and external contacts · Read and interpret drawings and descriptions · Other work tasks central to the operation may occur. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and practical experience in educational operations, municipal governance and work in a politically managed organization. You have experience independently conducting investigations from mapping and analysis to completed decision-making materials. You have knowledge and experience in dealing with various laws and other regulations. It is meritorious if you have good local knowledge of Kiruna and the municipal organization for preschool and primary school. We would prefer that you have held a leadership position in preschool and/or school. You are thorough, solution-focused, initiative-taking and independent. You enjoy working in teams with others and are good at listening, seeing the big picture and analyzing. You have a good ability to juggle many things at once. You enjoy mixing desk work and meetings with operational tasks in the activity. You are good at expressing yourself clearly and understandably in speech and writing. We see that you have a higher education degree or other experience that the employer deems appropriate for the assignment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. The position is filled provided that required decisions on external financing of city transformation funds are made. Interviews will be held continuously during the application period. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: November 1, 2026 or by agreement. Project employment for three years from the start of employment.
